Vintage Faux Tortoise Shell Celluloid Glove Stretchers

This rare pair of celluloid glove stretchers date from the beginning of the 20th century and would have been used by ladies to loosen up the fingers of gloves before they were worn!
They have a spring mechanism to open up the arms and this is in great working condition. It also has 'Made in England' embossed on the side, although it is slightly worn away.
Most pairs of glove stretchers from this period were made of wood so these faux tortoise shell celluloid set are very much sought after by collectors!
