1920s Northwood Iridescent Orange Glass Bowl - Three Fruits Basket Design

This absolutely stunning Northwood glass fruit bowl is a burnt orange iridescent colour with a pearlesque sheen all over which really catches the light! The design is the 'Three Fruits Basket' and shows pears, cherries, and apples! There is some fine detail to the centre and the main part of the bowl is in the classic basket-weave design. The edges of the bowl are a small wave style!
Carnival glass was a huge market in the 1920s and Northwood were based in the USA which was the centre of Carnival glass making! The bowl is in very good condition and is marked with an 'N' to denote Northwood as the maker.
